Bluefly Celebrates the Launch of Eyefly.com

On June 2nd online fashion retailer Bluefly.com celebrated the launch of
Eyefly.com, a new virtual fashion eyewear site developed in collaboration with
eyewear manufacturer A + D Labs. At the launch, jewelry designer and celebrity Nicky Hilton
posed for photos with Bluefly CEO Melissa Payner and CMO Bradford Matson,
before trying on styles from the Eyefly collection with other guests.
Notable attendees included Paper Magazine Editorial Director Mickey Boardman,
stylist Dani Stahl, Senior Accessories Editor David Thielebeule,
and rock singer/songwriter Carole Pope.

Art Director/Set Designer Andrea Huelse's imaginative decor gave the event space
an artistic ambiance. Some touches included the chandelier made of actual eyeglasses suspended over the bar,
and artist Troy Swain's chalk mural of a bespectacled crowd of people.
The venue walls featured photoblogger Tommy Ton's vignettes of fashion industry figures modeling
Eyefly styles. Models included Mickey Boardman, Dani Stahl, David Thielebeule,
online fashion editor Zandile Blay, and fashion blogger Susanna Lau.
Guests enjoyed cocktails by Kanon Organic Vodka and musical
entertainment by DJ John Santos.
Eyefly.com features innovative technology. It allows users to
virtually try on multiple frames by entering their prescription and uploading a picture or using their webcam.
Users can view themselves in glasses and share these views with friends to get a consensus on how they look.
