On February 9th, Erickson Beamon presented its Spring 2012 Collection at
Manhattan's Milk Studios. Founded and designed by Karen and Eric Erickson and
Vicki Beamon, the jewelry line has launched a hand-sewn and -finished ready-to-wear
capsule dress collection. The dresses are inspired by the decadent style of Weimar Berlin, and
embellished with Swarovski crystals. Erickson Beamon, which began with one flagship store in London's Belgravia,
is now sold in more than 600 stores in 75 countries worldwide,
and has adorned clients including Madonna, Kate Moss, Angelina Jolie, Gwyneth Paltrow, Beyonce,
Sarah Jessica Parker, Nicole Kidman, Michelle Obama, and Lady Gaga.

Erickson Beamon, which will celebrate its 30th birthday next year, has collaborated with fashion houses including Donna Karan, John Galliano, Zac Posen, Givenchy, Anna Sui, Emanuel Ungaro, and the late Alexander McQueen. Pieces from the line are in collections at London's Victoria & Albert Museum and New York's Costume Institute of the Metropolitan Museum. A 2003 retrospective exhibition, curated by Simon Doonan, was shown in the windows of Barneys New York. In 2009, Erickson Beamon launched a limited edition capsule collection for Target.
The Citizens Band, a spectacular, Weimar-inspired, collaborative cabaret troupe, provided musical entertainment for the presentation. Members of the troupe modeled pieces from the Erickson Beamon fashion collection while they performed.
