Bowery Hotel Terrace, NY, NY | 02.10.2012 | by Merry Esparza

Style 1 Media Fashion designer Victor de Souza presented his Fall/Winter 2012 Collection at the Bowery Hotel on February 10th. His creations recall a golden age of high couture: fitted bodices; full, flowing skirts; luxe fabrics; and ultra-feminine details. The pieces are formal, yet whimsical and romantic. He describes the woman who wears his designs as "a matador of fashion," who "lives for her own pleasures--lost in the magic of her Spanish castle." Victor de Souza, born in Argentina, debuted his couture collection in 2002 at Paris Fashion Week. In 2009, he launched his Ready-to-Wear Collection. Clients include Sarah Jessica Parker, Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez, Nicole Kidman, Jessica Biel, Rihanna, Alicia Keys, and Cindy Lauper. more...
